Homeless Veterans Services of Dallas, Inc. (HVSD) is dedicated to improving the lives of homeless or at-risk veterans and their families.
Operation Freedom Continues (OFC) provides home repairs to at-risk veterans, first responders and their families to address issues such as health, safety and mobility.
Typical repairs may include:
- weatherization
- repair of siding
- exterior painting
- fence repair
- wheelchair ramps
- grab bars
- other items that improve safety and mobility within the home
Veterans, first responders and their families who qualify for assistance will be matched with sponsor groups who provide funding and volunteers to help make repairs.
