Veteran Housing & Utility Assistance Program

The Veteran Housing & Utility Assistance program provides the following financial assistance for eligible Veterans and surviving spouses:

  • rent,
  • mortgage,
  • water, and
  • energy utility costs.

Eligible beneficiaries must:

  • Be a Veteran with any discharge status other than dishonorable, or
  • A surviving non-remarried spouse of a deceased Veteran whose spouse had any discharge status other than dishonorable

AND

 

  • Have a gross household income below 250% of the Federal Income Poverty Guideline limits.
