VETERAN ENTREPRENEUR PROGRAM (VEP)
HELPING VETERAN ENTREPRENEURS LAUNCH AND GROW THEIR BUSINESS
The Veteran Entrepreneur Program was created in 2013 with a mission to foster and promote Veteran Entrepreneurship throughout the State of Texas. The TVC's team of experienced Veteran Entrepreneur Business Consultants (VEBC) accomplishes this in three ways:
- Provides eligible veterans with a “Veteran Verification Letter” for new veteran-owned businesses.
- Provides personalized business assistance through all phases of businesses- from start-up to exit.
- Provides community outreach through a series of informational seminars, e-newsletters, and participation in resource partner events.
More than 35,000 new veterans call Texas home each year. Many transition directly into the thriving workforce while others redirect their skills and passion to achieving their dream of small business ownership. The Veteran Entrepreneur Program team of business consultants provide training, education and connections to help every veteran navigate through the processes of planning, launching and growing their business. This team of consultants is made up of veterans, business owners, and MBA graduates dedicated to veterans' success in business.
Few veterans are fully aware of the wealth of resources available to help entrepreneurs achieve business success. These resources are available through the Federal Government, the State of Texas, and many local municipalities and non-profit organizations. The VEP works closely with these partners to ensure veteran entrepreneurs can connect and leverage these relationships.
The VEP team assists with a myriad of typical business start-up needs such as; funding sources, regulatory considerations, business formation, franchising, business plan development, government contracting, and so much more. Since the program inception the VEP has assisted over 3,000 veterans with their dreams of business ownership. Why shouldn’t you be next?
