The American Red Cross of North Texas serves active duty military, veterans, and their families through the Service to the Armed Forces (SAF) program.
For active duty military, Red Cross sends emergency communications to service members, in training or deployed, in order to keep them connected to their homes.
ARC provides information and referral through a network of other providers. The agency also has a small budget to provide emergency financial assistance on a case-by-case basis. Services are provided regardless of discharge status. Veterans will need provide photo identification and a copy of their DD 214.
