Come join us for our first annual Veterans Day Celebration at Yonders Point Venue in Old Settlers Park on Friday, November 11 starting at 11am. We will have our formal ceremony beginning at 11am at Flag Plaza with Round Rock Mayor & City Council Members, Stony Point JROTC, and guest speaker US Army Futures Command Sergeant Major Brian Hester. Immediately following the ceremony, there will be refreshments provided by Texas Fallen Project and Share the Will organizations.
Join us at 4pm to continue to celebrate our Veterans. The event includes food trucks, games, vendors that are offering services for our Veterans, military and first responder vehicle display, LIVE music from Anders Drerup Band at 7pm, and beer by Lonestar, the National Beer of Texas.
Yonders Point, located just southwest of the baseball fields in Old Settlers Park, is a place where families can picnic and enjoy an amazing view of Bright Lake. The plaza includes landscaping and trees, pergolas with swings, terraced seating and lounges.
The City built Yonders Point with the intent to create a beautiful space for reflection and passive recreation, distinct from the active recreation currently offered at Old Settlers Park. Yonders Point can be found on the north side of Old Settlers Park, which is located at 3103 Aten Loop.
