The Tarrant County Veterans Council has selected a theme for this year's Veterans Day Parade in Fort Worth on November 11: Saluting TCU Warriors. Texas Christian University is celebrating its 150th anniversary and the Council has chosen to focus on the school's military legacy, with a salute to TCU alum and Medal of Honor recipient Maj. Horace S. Carswell, Jr.
The Tarrant County Veterans Day Parade is hosted annually by the City of Fort Worth through extensive, generous support from the Mayor's Office, City Council, as well as the Fort Worth Police and Fiire Departments.
