Waterloo Counseling Center - Project Valor

About Project Valor:

Project VALOR offers individual, couples and group therapy services to Texas veterans and their dependent family members across the state. Waterloo recognizes that as a veteran or family member of a veteran, your life's journey may be different in many ways. Through Project VALOR, you can explore your post-military life without limits with the help of a licensed therapist who has experience in serving a veteran population. Project VALOR honors who you have been, who you are and who you want to be.

You may be eligible for Project VALOR if you are a Texas veteran who served in any branch of the military with any discharge status. National Guard members are also eligible, regardless of duty status. Eligible family members of Texas veterans include spouses, surviving spouses, dependent children under age 18 living with the veteran and children of veterans who are under age 24 and full-time students. Fees are assessed on a generous sliding scale based on income--we will find a fee that works for you!

Services are LGBTQIA+ affirming, but are open to any Texas veteran or eligible family member. Clients who live in rural areas across Texas are encouraged to seek support from Project VALOR using e-therapy offered through a secure, HIPAA-compliant web portal.

Cost does not have to be a barrier to living the best life you can! Call us at 512-444-9922 to see how we can help.

Evening hours are available.
