United Way of Denton County - Veteran Community Navigator Program

United Way of Denton County is a powerful movement of volunteers and donors in our community striving to make a difference. Our mission is to improve lives in Denton County.

The focus of the Veteran Community Navigator program is to improve the lives of Veterans and their families living within Denton County through supportive networks and community resources. Our case managers link Veterans and their family members with resources that meet physical and mental health needs. The goals of Veterans and their families will drive the services provided by the Veteran Community Navigator program.

To be eligible for services, a Veteran or family member will be asked to provide documentation that helps us determine:

  • Veteran status
  • Residence within Denton County
  • Spousal or dependent relationship to Veteran
