The Trauma and Resilience Center

The Trauma and Resilience Center

*Important Notes:

All treatment is now available through home based telehealth

Uninsured or underinsured Veterans and their families will be treated free of charge.

The Trauma and Resilience Center: All Treatment is offered either via traditional in person modalities, Home Based telehealth (like zoom, facetime or skype), or some combination of the two, depending on Veteran preference.

Recovering from a traumatic experience can be extremely difficult. However, effective treatments do exist.

The Trauma and Resilience Center at UTHealth is an outpatient facility conducting best practices, evidence based and symptom-focused treatment for PTSD and Depression. The TRC faculty are also engaged in cutting edge research.

Because all of our treatment services are available to Veterans directly in their home via telehealth technology, we are a STATEWIDE resource.

SERVICES WE OFFER

  • Evidence based trauma-focused treatment
  • Integrated care
  • Timely appointments

Veterans without insurance are treated at no cost, and we also accept most health insurance plans including Medicare, Medicaid, and workers compensation.

For intake and scheduling, please call the Trauma and Resilience Center – at (713) 486-2630.
