South East Texas Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse

Providing substance abuse treatment for drugs and alcohol for ages 13 and up. SETCADA has outpatient offices in Beaumont, Port Arthur, and Orange for both male and females, and a inpatient residential center in Beaumont for men only.

 

The Council , a non-profit 501-C-3, began in 1958, to provide education and treatment services, to individuals afflicted with alcohol problems, and their families.  With the escalation of drug abuse, these services were expanded to include treatment for chemical dependency.  The Council offers the following services:   Intensive Residential Treatment (adult males) @ Unity Treatment Center (formerly DAARC) Right Choice Outpatient of Beaumont -------------------adults & adolescents 13-17 Right Choice of Orange County (Pinehurst)-------------adults & adolescents 13-17 Right Choice of Mid and South Jefferson County (Port Arthur)-------adults & adolescents 13-17 and SETCADA Community Coalition Partnership focuses on the state’s three prevention priorities of alcohol (underage drinking), marijuana, and/or prescription drug abuse.  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  Our Mission Statement: To advocate and provide necessary substance abuse prevention, intervention, and treatment services, for the community at large.
