Rockwall County Helping Hands - Health Center

The Health Center of Helping Hands provides primary health services to those that are underserved in the Rockwall community.

The Health Center is not free, but it provides affordable healthcare with low cost office visits and labs.  Our Family Nurse Practitioners work with several local volunteer physicians and can provide referrals when necessary. Management of chronic diseases like diabetes, asthma and high blood pressure, annual sports physicals, and flu shots are just some services provided at the health center.

We offer family centered, primary care for men, women and children of all ages including the following:

  • Affordable Health & Wellness Office Visits
  • Low Cost Lab Fees
  • Prescription Assistance
  • Womens' Wellness Exams
  • Nutrition Counseling
  • Pregnancy Testing
  • Immunizations
  • Sports Physicals
  • Referrals

There are no income or residence requirements for patients to receive care at the Health Center. Office visits are $50 for established patients. We offer an income based sliding scale program for Rockwall County residents who are unable to pay our medical fees. Health Maintenance Plans are available to all patients for $305, which includes basic health coverage, labs, and flu shots for a year. Appointments are preferred and recommended.
