Our Daily Bread provides nutritious meals and facilitates referrals for other services to those in need. Those services include transportation support to medical appointments and job interviews, job search support, information on crucial services available through other agencies, telephone accessibility, blood pressure checks, and limited medical referral assistance. WE also provide seasonal clothing in winter and limited essential hygiene supplies.
Our Daily Bread serves a substantial noon meal Monday - Friday, evening meal on Monday, and lunch on Saturday, to the hungry and homeless without questions. A professional chef and assistant, aided by volunteers from more than 26 local churches and other community organizations, prepares and serves an average of 200 meals a day.
Meal service is available the following days and times:
Lunch - 12 noon - 1:15 pm, Monday - Friday.Dinner - 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm, Monday evening.Lunch - 11:30 - 12:30 pm, Saturday
Our Daily Bread is closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. We close on these days to give our volunteers a much-needed break. Many other agencies serve a hearty meal on these days.
