Johnson County Texas - Johnson County Veteran Services

The Mission of the Johnson County Veteran Services is to assist eligible veterans and/or their survivors in identifying and obtaining benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the State of Texas. Dedicated to honor our Johnson County Veterans by ensuring that all Texas Veterans and their eligible survivors receive every benefit to which they are entitled. The goal is accomplished by providing information regarding eligibility requirements on each of the myriad of state/federal benefits and programs and by assisting with the identification, filing and completion of required forms and other correspondence necessary to file for these benefits including appeals of VA claims. Other services include outreach to clients who are shut in, homeless, or incarcerated and giving VA benefits presentations to nursing homes, assisted living facilities and to other agencies/organizations throughout Johnson County

We are a dedicated team of benefit experts, with a working knowledge of all Federal and Texas State Benefits plus the federal/state/county laws affecting the securing all Veteran/Survivor benefits. Each staff member is trained to advocate for our clients, plus holds current certification or accreditation by the Texas Veterans Commission. With a spirit of excellence, we are committed to work with all organizations sharing the same passion to honor the brave men and women that have faithfully served in the Military of this great country.
