Services for Veteransand their Dependents

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Veteran Veterans are from all conflicts and all branches of the military including Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, and National Guard. Dependent of a Veteran The dependent of a Veteran includes the Veteran’s spouse, surviving spouse, child, parents, and/or siblings who are directly impacted by coping with the impact of the Veteran’s deployment or the Veteran’s reintegration into the local community.

SERVICES OFFERED

Cognitive Processing Therapy Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) helps you by giving you a new way to handle distressing thoughts and to gain an understanding of events. By using the skills learned in this therapy, you can learn why recovery from traumatic events has been hard for you. CPT helps you learn how going through a trauma changed the way you look at the world, yourself, and others. The way we think and look at things directly affects how we feel and act. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Cognitive behavioral therapy helps you understand that your thoughts cause your feelings and behaviors, not external things, like people, situations, and events. The benefit of this fact is that you can change the way you think in order to feel or act better even if the situation does not change. Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Skills Training
