Gulf Coast Galveston

The Veteran Services Department of the Gulf Coast Center MHA is a grant funded program covered under House Bill 2392; An Act relating to the Mental Health Program for Veterans. The Veterans Services department is a member and representation of the Military Veteran Peer Network (MVPN); a non-profit organization. Our program conducts volunteer out-reach in the surrounding communities of both Galveston and Brazoria Counties, Trainings for Veterans, family members of Veterans, and all surrounding communities, facilitates and manages veteran peer groups, recruits, and retains volunteers, and hosts events for veterans and their families. Our Mission: The Gulf Coast Centers Veteran Peer Network is dedicated to supporting and empowering Galveston and Brazoria County veterans and families through fellowship, peer support, training and the sharing of community resources.
