About Horses for Heroes

"Children that have parents deployed might need a friend. There are some good friends and there are bad friends, but the best friend in the world is a horse."
– Anonymous, Oct. 2006

Horses4Heroes was created especially for the families and friends of military personnel and Veterans, firefighters/EMTs, law enforcement officers, critical care and hospice nurses, special needs school teaches, and other heroes in our community!

Horses4Heroes is a nationwide network of family-friendly, kid-friendly horseback riding facilities and equine-related service providers that support our mission to make horseback riding affordable for, and accessible to, the families of the heroes in our communities. Horses4Heroes, Inc. is an able-bodied riding program that focuses on horsemanship and horse care and emphasizes fun and safe activities with horses, mounted and un-mounted for all ages.
