The Dog Alliance - Hounds For Heroes

Hounds for Heroes - Service Dogs provided by The Dog Alliance      We work with you to come up with the very best solutions for you!   -Train your current dog to be a service dog   -Adopt a Service Dog trained by The Dog Alliance   -Adopt a Puppy or Dog Then Train Your Own Service Dog   -Adopt a Pet Dog or Emotional Support Dog   In addition to being trained to be unobtrusive in public, our service dogs are trained to mitigate the symptoms of service related post-traumatic stress (PTS), and or assist with mobility challenges. Each dog performs tasks that enable their partner to lead a more "normal" life. The tasks are selected after extensive conversations with the adopter.

Service dogs are provided for disabled Texas veterans who were honorable or medically discharged. Due to the generosity of our community, service dogs are provided at no charge to veterans.

The Hounds for Heroes program is a candidate member of Assistance Dogs International. We are also pursuing membership with the Association of Service Dog Providers for Military Veterans.
