The Comfort Crew for Military Kids

The Comfort Crew for Military Kids (CCMK), a 501(c)3, provides military children and their families with a variety of programs and resources designed to meet the specific needs and challenges of military life: multiple deployments, reconnecting as a family after a time of separation, visible and invisible injuries of a returning parent, and grief over the loss of a loved one. CCMK delivers proven strategies to prepare every military child for the unique challenges they face so they positively impact themselves, their families, and our country.

Comfort Kits

Comfort Crew resources are distributed in boxes called Comfort Kits for children ages 6-12. The core messages in these resources emphasize preparation, communication, and strategies to process emotions. These resources are available to military families for free at http://comfortcrew.org/resources.
