Veterans always receive priority over other students in our high-demand training programs.

If you are a veteran, you may also be eligible for rehabilitation or accessibility home modifications.

CLC, Inc. will provide home modification and/or rehabilitation services to veterans and their family members through its existing partnerships with organizations. CLC, Inc. has long-standing established relationships with agencies serving hard to serve veterans in the geographic area to be targeted by the Project.

The HARTH Project staff will visit the interested Beneficiaries and determine if each veteran is considered disabled, low-income or very low-income per TVC standards. At that time, the HARTH Project Staff will begin completing the Beneficiary Worksheet, as well as collect a copy of the beneficiary's DD-214, Federal Income Tax Return and the official documentation showing that the veteran is the owner of the property and current on all mortgages and home equity loans. Once all of the eligibility documentation is collected, the HARTH Project Staff will go over the home modifications requested by the beneficiary to ensure it is reasonable and doable by CLC, Inc. program staff. The HARTH Project Staff will assess the capability and desire for DIY (Do It Yourself) projects, and at that time put together an estimated cost of the modification.  CLC, Inc. will also have the capability of partnering with the CLC, Inc. Serve Earn and Learn Program which provides construction training to Youth between the ages of 18 and 21, and the CLC, Inc. YouthBuild Program that provides construction training to Youth between the ages of 18 and 24.
