http://christianassistanceministry.org/#Food Assistance:Groceries are provided to clients once every two months. Grocery amounts are given based on the number of people in the household. CAM then connects clients to steady food resources in their neighborhood or to other assistance programs if needed.
CAM provides UTILITY ASSISTANCE
Financial assistance may be provided for clients once in a 12-month period (contingent on funding):
Utilities: Provided and paid directly to the utility company at a minimum of $25 with disconnect notice.CAM may enroll families in a special Bexar County program (if they qualify) that may pay their entire bill.
CAM provides OTHER FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
Prescriptions at a maximum of $40 (based on funding)
Bus tickets/passes (with a verified medical appointment, job interviews or starting full-time job)Miscellaneous assistance or assistance in a larger amount may be considered by a case basis; however is more likely through a referral process.
