Army Women's Foundation

Mission

The U.S. Army Women’s Foundation is the premier center for educational excellence, the national network for today’s Army women and a dynamic advocate for telling the history of Army women.

The U.S. Army Women’s Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization headquartered in Fort Lee, Virginia. The mission of the Army Women’s Foundation is to promote public interest in the Army and recognize and honor the service of all Army women through programs, research and scholarships.

Annual Summit

Each year, in Washington, D.C., the Army Women’s Foundation brings together experts on defense, economic, political, health and social issues that effect soldiers, particularly women soldiers.

We’ve examined and celebrated the changing military missions and roles of Army women, the challenges they face transitioning back to civilian life, and the resiliency they demonstrate in handling both.

We look forward to continuing the dialog necessary for supporting strong soldiers.

Grants

The Army Women’s Foundation seeks to support programs and research that align with our mission to support, educate, and promote Army women and the U.S. Army. To be eligible, the submitting organization must be a non-profit organization, museum, or higher educational institution and submit the AWF Grant Request Form located on this page, detailing how their request pertains to and benefits Army women, along with any appropriate supporting materials. We will consider grant requests throughout the year.
