Angel House Soup Kitchen

"Angel House" is the Soup Kitchen Ministry of the Austin Baptist
Chapel. The Austin Baptist Chapel is a 501-(c)(3) corporation organized under the State of Texas. Much like a church, we have a seven-member Board of Directors that oversees the decision-making of current needs, financial matters, and ensures the Chapel ministry accomplishes our stated mission.

We serve breakfast at 9:30am Monday-Friday
Saturdays 9:00am and Sundays at 8:45am followed with worship service and sermon.
A prayer of thanksgiving always begins the mealtime at 11 AM daily. Lunch is from 11am-12:30pm sharp

We offer showers every day except Sundays because of church service.

The Soup Kitchen is a human service organization of caring and loving people.

We serve the poor who suffer from the lack of basic human needs: material needs, such as food, and clothing.

Although we are not a food pantry ,we are a soup kitchen  that serves a hot meal every day for our guests.

In order to serve as a positive factor healing force in the spirits and lives of needy individuals, the Soup Kitchen strives to provide encouragement  with respect and dignity.

Every person who comes to us for a meal is welcomed, without regard to race, sex, age, color, national origin, religious preference, handicap or income.

We are closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in" Matthew 25:35
