The Texas Veterans Commission's goal is to advocate for all Texas veterans. The TVC has almost 400 employees across the state to assist with: VA Claims, Employment, Entrepreneurship, and Healthcare Advocacy. Additionally the TVC's Hazlewood program and Fund For Veterans Assistance Grants (made to nonprofits and programs that help veterans) make a difference in veterans lives daily.

The Military Veteran Peer Network is a band of veteran volunteers that work together to help any veteran in need. Every MVPN hub offers multiple peer support sessions for different eras or military experiences, and mentoring to veterans in the Veteran Treatment Courts. When you're ready to reach out- for friendship with people that 'get you' or for a need- call your local MVPN coordinator.
