Warrior Within Book Club *Series

We are resilient as Veteran/Military Spouses, Partners, Caregivers, Service Members, and Veterans! Through the Warrior Within Book Club, we will add weapons to our arsenal through self-care practices and other information to help us spark the warrior within that OUR warriors, families, and communities need.

This book club will meet twice a month skipping the week of the 4th of July. The first session will begin on Thursday, May 6th,

This book club will meet for 16 weeks. The first session will begin on Sunday, August 29th, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm CDT. The Book Club will focus on the book "Get Out of Your Head: Sopping the Spiral of Toxic Thoughts" by Jennie Allen and will utilize the companion workbook. All participants are responsible for the purchase of their own books in whatever form they choose. "Get Out of Your Head" is a motivational book and workbook written from a Christian perspective. The views expressed in this book belong solely to the author and do not represent the Veteran Spouse Network or the University of Texas at Austin. To be eligible for this group you must be the spouse, committed partner, or caregiver of an active duty service member or post-service veteran. Family members and individuals who are widowed or divorced from an active duty service member or post-service veteran are also eligible for these groups. Veterans and Service Members are also welcome to join.
