Join us for an opportunity to connect with other military/veteran spouses/committed partners. This session is the third in a 6-week V-SRG mini-series. Each week will be open to new participants, so join all sessions, just one, or anything in between! These sessions will give participants a sneak peek into our Veteran Spouse Resiliency Group(V-SRG) Program, leading participants through the curriculum's The Lingering Effects of Service session.
The purpose of this session is to facilitate an opportunity for participants to share how their partner's military service still impacts their lives today. Military culture doesn't disappear when our partner leaves the service, and it can impact our families in a multitude of ways post-service. In this session, the group will discuss how service has impacted them, their spouse/partner, and their children - the good, the bad, and the ugly. As spouses, it can be powerful to learn that we're not the only ones still being impacted by military culture and our partner's service.
Please note that in order to maintain an intimate, collaborative discussion environment, we are keeping the registration cap number small. To ensure that all those wishing to participate are able to attend, please only register if you plan to attend the session. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, impacting your schedule, so if you register and find that you are unable to attend, you will be able to cancel your registration at any time - this will open up your slot for others to join.
It is also recommended that you have the ability to show your camera during the session if able and comfortable, to make the session feel more like the in-person sessions.
Note: To be eligible for this group you must be the spouse or committed partner of an active duty service member or post-service veteran. If you have been a past participant in the V-SRG program, you are still eligible to join this session.
