Supportive Services for Veteran Families - Houston

If you are a Veteran, we want to serve you.

Neighborhood Centers provide intensive care management services to veterans who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Eligible veterans will have access to services including, but not limited to:

  • Permanent housing
  • Housing vouchers subsidized
  • Employment
  • Child care
  • Access to health care
  • Food pantries
  • Assistance to apply for state funded programs such as WIC and SNAP
  • Public transportation

Immediate family members of the participant veteran are eligible to receive supportive services while in the program. To be eligible tor SSVF Services, participants must have:

 

  • DD214
  • Photo ID-Driver's License/Texas ID
  • Social Security Card
  • Documentation of Homelessness (i .e. homeless letter from shelter or agency)
  • Eviction Notice/Notice to Vacate
  • Copy of signed lease and W-9 form from the owner/apartment
